Tracey's Vampy & Racey Bookblog Review of "My Demon's Destiny"

Marie's Tempting Reads Review of Book Three "My Demon's Destiny"

Sending out a heartfelt thank you to Marie's Tempting Reads for your gracious review of book three in our trilogy, My Demon's Destiny. So glad you liked it!
Read what Marie had to say.

"I sure will miss the adventures of Sera and Cole. This is one series that left me VERY satisfied and just wishing it could go on and on. I LOVED the romance between Cole and Sera and the surprises in each new book kept me enthralled to the very last page.
In My Demon's Destiny Volume Three, we get to start things pretty much where everything left off in the second book, and right away, trouble immediately finds Cole and Sera. I love the protectiveness both Sera and Cole have for each other. Their love is obvious and there for all to see and they have no problem dealing with each others enemies to keep each other safe and sound.
We get to meet Cole's family in this as well as finally understand the full impact that is Cole. I have always found myself immensely intrigued with Cole as well as find him incredibly sexy and downright possessive of his angel, Sera.
Sera is one angel you don't want to mess with, especially when your messing with HER demon. I love the powers she possess and the fact that she tries not use them unless their in some dire circumstance.
Oh my, this story kept me up and biting my fingernails until the very last word on the very last page. I am amazed with the writing and quite happy with how things began and ended with My Demon's Destiny Volume 3.
I give this romance, a FULL FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! Its intense, addicting, sexy, and just plain GOOD. I sincerely hope to see more work from Alicia Dawn and Nikita Jakz. I really believe that this Series is a W-I-N-N-E-R."

SBM Book Obsession Review of Book 2

Thanks, SBM Book Obsession for your review of book 2, My

Demon Determined. Read what she had to say about Cole

and Sera's on-going adventures:

"I just love this series so much!! Vol two picks up where one

left off. Sera and Cole are living in Hell hiding from the other

angels who are searching for Sera. Having to bow to the

master they are left depending on help from the Master. This

is an exciting, sexy, and funny paranormal adventure! Of

course I would follow Cole to hell anytime! I want to hate

Sera just out of jealousy, but I can't! She is so innocent that

it's funny the situations she finds herself in. You can't help

but love her! No matter what she has faced or has endured

she still manages to hold on to that angelic innocence that

makes her Sera. If you want to read an amazing paranormal

romance this is the one for you!! I can't wait to start on

Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews for "My Demon Determined"

Another shiny 4.5 stars! Thank you Devilishly Delicious Book Reviews for your follow-up review for book two! ~Review~This second book was different from the first one for me. Yes, the scorching chemistry is still there between the angel and demon, but this story is more developed and descriptive. For instance, the areas of hell are very vivid. As the authors used readers’ senses to engage them in the sensuality between the couple, they engage those same senses to give them a real, raw, disgusting look at Hell. I was as disgusted and scared as Sera was when she confronted by the different creatures she encountered. Like Sera, I wanted to vomit when the dining area was described. I felt as stifled and morose as she did. Then, when Cole redid their room to depict a beautiful beach, the descriptions were so vivid that you could smell and taste the salt and sand. Of course, I fell more in love with Cole and Sera. They make the perfect couple who complement each other beautifully.

My Demon Determined was a great addition to the series. Again, readers are left with a bit of a cliffhanger but not where the couple are concerned, but it ends perfectly with the set up for another adventure for Cole and Sera. I can’t wait to see where the next adventure leads me. If you have read the first one in the series, you need to get this one. If you haven’t met Cole and Sera, you really should…get the first book, My Decadent Demon!

Devilishly Delicious Book Review of My Decadent Demon

WOW!!!! Who knew a love story between an oracle and a demon could be so HOT? As I began My Decadent Demon, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, after reading the first few paragraphs, I was hooked.
Seraphina, Sera, is an oracle in training who has the gift of foresight, and one of the first visions she sees is a sexy as sin demon, Cole. However, she doesn’t know he is a demon; she just knows that his destiny is linked to hers. She sets off to find him in the human world, and he is even more spectacular in person. When the two meet, they begin a sexy, torrid affair until she realizes what he truly is. Of course, her being an angel and him being a demon would never work in her eyes, so she leaves him. Fast forward 100 years later, and she hasn’t been able to forget him. Meanwhile, he has been living half a life without his angel. She hunts him down again, and they pick up where they left off with Sera professing her love for him. Of course, fate intervenes, and they have some major obstacles to overcome. Will they be able to overcome their two very different backgrounds to find their own HEA?
This book has to be one of the most sensual reads I have read. Both of these writers have a talent in engaging the senses which draws the reader deeper into the story. They use such lines like these.
“He could still taste her on his tongue, could smell her exotic scent mingling with the chocolate.”
“Inching closer she leaned in, savoring his voice as he spoke. It was like soft, warm velvet rubbing across her skin.”
“Her lids slid closed as she inhaled his scent. Oh Heavens, he smelled raw and wild and intoxicating. Like thunderstorms and forest fires and the finest ambrosia.”.
And I don’t think I will ever look at candy and chocolate the same way again after their hot session in the kitchen. WOW!!!!
There wasn’t one thing I disliked about the characters. Sera is one unique angel. There is a sweet innocence to her, but yet she does have this naughty side that Cole is an expert at bringing out. Cole is one hot domineering demon. All he has to do is look at Sera, and she is putty in his hands, and he is excellent with those hands! As readers will see, he may be a demon, but he certainly has a human man’s heart. They seem to bring out the best in each other, and they are a couple you are really rooting for. You want them to end up together even though they are from two very different worlds and have so much to overcome to find happiness. I will say it again. The sex scenes are UNBELIEVABLY HOT!!!
Borrowing one of Sera’s quotes, “Sweet stars above,” this one fantastic, steamy, sensual book. I do have the sequel already on my Kindle. As I finish this review, I will be headed back into the sensual world of Sera and Cole to see where the two lovers are headed next. If you are in the mood for a sexy love story with great characters, I would highly recommend this one.

My Demon's Destiny Book Trailer

Swept Away by Books Review

My Determined Demon by Nikita Jakz & Alicia Dawn

My Demon Determined (My Demon Trilogy, #2)  My Demon Determined by Alicia Dawn & Nikita Jakz
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have just finished reading this book and I have to say I really enjoyed it

It is such a sweet and innocent love story but with very kinky actions.

This is the perfect quick read romance, it has everything you need in it from      some serious sexually charged romance to nail biting action.

I did find Sera a little cheesy at times but the chemistry between the characters was great.

This is the 2nd book in the series, so I would definitely recommend reading the first book first.

I would definately recommend this book and can't wait to read the next as this was left on a bit of a cliff hanger

My Demon Determined Book Review by Girly Girl Book Review

~Review by Sue Ellen~
Oh my!! Talk about an amazing way to keep this series going!! Bringing a bit of heaven to hell, hmm how is that going to work? Well grab this book and you will know all the details I do. Seraphine has decided to follow Cole to Hell due to others trying to find her. You definitely learn a lot in this one. I throughly love the banter between Seraphine and Cole because they are different, but they balance each other out. Where Cole’s dark side comes out Seraphine does things that made me laugh. I say this is another great book in this trilogy, can’t wait for the third one.

My Decadent Demon Review by Girly Girl Book Review

~Review by Sue Ellen~
What an amazing novel by these two authors. You wouldn't believe that these two have just started out by the way this novel is written. The plot and story line that has been created is amazing and is a quick read. The characters are well written and definitely not boring.  You have Seraphine who is an angel and represents everything that is good. While Cole, is a demon and is from the dark side. However, when these two collide there is a war of passion! Will Seraphine be able to keep her heart wrapped up this time or will Cole take possession of it? The scenes are very hot, and even though you may have questions it is left open for another one (which is out now too). This is only the beginning, looking forward to see what the future will have for us. If you like reading about angels and demons I would recommend giving this series a try.

"I would have to say that I enjoyed this book immensely. It has plenty of elements that I love in a paranormal romance. The characters were both lovable and delicious. The love just shined through the book at me, making me hope throughout that they would be what they were meant to be.....together. It kept me turning the pages, with the need to find out.

The sex scenes were sexy, there was enough to show me how much they loved sex and each other, and the authors didn't let the scenes over ride the love story.

I also loved the way the two authors wrote together. You could tell that they have been writing together for a while, and it showed on how well each persons writing blended with the others. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a paranormal romance."

Awesome Interview at Jeanz Book Read N Review!

Did you always want to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?
Nikita: I have always loved to write. It came easily for me from a very young age. But back then, self-doubt controlled a large part of my vision for the future. It seems growing older does have its pluses, because over time my self-confidence did begin to grow. When my first book idea came to me, it was so powerful that I knew in that moment that I wanted to write for the rest of my life... and never ever stop. :)
Alicia:  I wrote off and on when I was younger making up stories, or poems, but I never wanted to ‘be’ a writer until 3 years ago.

When did you first consider yourself as a "writer"?
Nikita: I think I considered myself a writer ever since I began writing my own stories. As opposed to engaging in a kind of fan fiction, I began creating my own characters and my own stories, doing it every single day out of need as much as fun. It was (and still is) an utter passion, whether others see my work or not, and I think it’s possessing that kind of fever (and acting on it) that essentially establishes one as a writer.
Alicia: When we published our first book? Actually I just love creating stories and creating all the fun adventurous creations, that my imagination can come up with. So I don’t think of myself as a writer. Just one that loves to tell stories.

Did it take a long time to get your first book published?
Alicia: We wrote together for 2 years before we thought about publishing what we had written.
Nikita: Once we finished our first book, the publishing process went very quickly because we’d agreed to go the self-publish route initially. In one day we had our story up on countless bookselling sites. Once we finish the trilogy, however, (set for April 2014) we plan to take our baby to a few publishing houses, which we anticipate will take quite a bit longer. ;)

What is the name of your latest book, and if you had to summarise it in less than 20 words what would you say?
Alicia: “My Demon Determined.”
Nikita: A demon and his angel, fighting against fate to be together, enduring hell (in all its crazy forms) to achieve it.

Who is your publisher? Or do you self publish?
Alicia: We are self-published
Nikita: Yes. What she said. LOL

How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to finishing writing it?
Alicia: We try to get them out in a timely manner so no one forgets what the first book is about being we are doing a trilogy of these characters. Six months is what we shoot for.
Nikita: There are so many different variants affecting the speed in which I write my different stories, so that’s a really difficult question to answer. With our “My Demon Trilogy,” though, I think it will take us about two years total by the time it’s complete, as we view it as ultimately one story, broken into three parts.

What can we expect from you in the future? ie More books of the same genre? Books of a different genre?
Alicia: There is a third book due out next year, and we have one more in the works to write after that. The genre is the same.
Nikita: Yes, after we complete the My Demon Trilogy, we’d like to do a spin-off of the series involving character(s) the readers meet in the trilogy. I also have a handful of other projects currently in the works that I’m very excited about. All are paranormal romance, but one will have a distinct sci-fi edge to it!

Do you have plans for a new book? Is this book part of a series?
Alicia: The third book will be the wrap up to the “My Demon Trilogy.”
Nikita: Yes, and it is set to release in April of 2014.

What genre would you place your books into?
Alicia & Nikita: (in unison) Paranormal Romance

What made you decide to write that genre of book?
Nikita: For me, that’s the genre I love and obsess over, so it was a no-brainer. I crave the excitement that other species and worlds offer. It makes the sky the limit, where anything is possible. I absolutely love that.
Alicia:  I’ve always read this genre, and others but this one (paranormal) is fun to write. There is no boundries, but your imagination.

Do you have a favourite out of the books you have written? If so why is it your favourite?
Nikita: No way. All three books are equally packed with wildly crazy and deliciously exasperating scenes, each story’s driving force just as captivatingly heart-wrenching as the next. Nope, I’d never be able to chose. :)
Alicia:  What she said all three are great. Me either I would not ever be able to choose just one.

Do you have a favourite character from your books? and why are they your favourite?
Nikita: Well of course for me, my favorite character is Cole. He is, after all, the one who lured Sera to life. Without him, she would never have been, but now that she is, I could never have as much fun if I didn’t have Cole to torment! He is my heart’s delight, an amazing muse, and arguably the sexiest demon (in body and mind) that ever graced the paranormal page.

If you had to choose to be one of your characters in your book/books which would you be? and why?
Nikita: Sera, of course! With an intrinsically good heart, she’s also an utter goofball. I love goofballs. Yet, when it comes to times that matter, she’s also quite the badass. Besides, who wouldn’t want to have huge, gorgeous wings?
Alicia:  I’d like to be Cole just for his sense of  dry humor, and he is just a up front pulls no punches, take it like it is person.

How long have you been writing?, and who or what inspired you to write?
Nikita: I’ve been writing off and on since I was an adolescent, but didn’t start doing it seriously, and with a passion, until a few years ago. And without a doubt, my favorite authors and their incredible stories have been my inspiration for writing. I want to bring the kind of enjoyment they give to me to any who are willing to give our stories a chance. :)
Alicia:  I did not get serious about writing until three years ago when I started Rp’ing on Facebook. It’s hard to choose what inspired me but mostly my love of all the authors I read or have read. They do it so damn good that I was in awe of their talent. I have discovered that I enjoy entertaining by writing.

Where do you get your book plot ideas from?
Nikita:  Like I said earlier, in the My Demon Trilogy, Cole was the driving force behind the idea of Sera. And in the process of bringing her to life, their story came tumbling into existence, too. It was a glorious day of brainstorming that still makes my heart pound just thinking about. My other plot ideas have come from all kinds of places, though I’d probably have to say that songs and images are where most tend to originate.

Do you have anybody read your books and give you reviews before you officially release them?ie. Your partner, children, friends, reviewers you know?
We have beta readers that read and give us their take on what we write.

Do you read all the reviews of your book/books?
Yes, we like to see the feedback of what people think of our books.

How do you come up with the Title and Cover Designs for your book/books?
Nikita makes our cover designs, which are awesome. As for titles we kick around names until we come up with one we both like. This might take minutes or an hour.  They are always subject to change before we are done writing the book.

How do you market/promote your books?
We promote on all the social sights, and lots of word of mouth helps to.

What do you think about book trailers?
Actually Alicia has made one for each book to help with the promoting.
My Decadent Demon
My Demon Determined

Do you market the book any differently with it having two authors?
No not really, it just means there is more people hearing about us since there is two of us, two times the friends that tell other people. It works out great.

How do you decide who writes which part of the book?
We basically write for our character, and bounce back and forth it works and flows for us.

If there's a disagreement, say about plot, title, cover etc how do you solve it?
We discuss what it is and then go about making sure that we are on the same page, and that we are good with whatever the problem might be.

Who decides which name goes first on the book?
With us it really does not matter who’s first or second.

Do you get together in the same room to do the writing or is it all done via computers?

Being we both live a long way from each other it’s done via computer or skype when we need to discuss things.

What piece of advice would you give to a new writer?
As long as you're doing something you enjoy, then go for it. No matter what never give up that dream, because one day it will happen.

Do you or would you ever use a pen name?
We both use a pen name for privacy sake.
