Reading Lark After Dark Review
The second installment in the My Demon trilogy is out, and what a fun ride! Cole and Seraphina are now on the run from the angels and are forced to take refuge in hell. Hiding from her family is one thing, having Sera exposed to evil on a consistent basis is another. She is strong, but is she strong enough to resist the pull of evil she will now be surrounded by on a daily basis. Besides that, Cole’s demon is stronger there. He tends to come out at inopportune times and Sera learns much about him, but is it more than she bargained for?
I love Sera’s innocence and her wonder in all things. I also enjoyed her learning to come into her own. Sera discovers a wealth of strength when she needs it the most in dealing with Cole’s demon and his demon finds her intriguing. In fact, he sees her as a challenge, but one he wants to possess. Sera had me laughing and grinning when she challenged Cole in his demon form and brought him to his knees. The sex between the two is hot. I had to fan myself several times when they have a meeting of the minds and bodies.

The adventures they have as they try to gather the item they need to be able to hide from her family in plain sight are nothing short of hilarious and at the same time, dangerous. Sera is seemingly oblivious to the danger they face. One of my favorite scenes is right before they leave on their trek and Sera has carried in the large bags of items she is taking with her. She is loaded for bear, ready for anything. Cole forces her to narrow it down to one weapon, rather than the arsenal she has packed. Her frustration is a riot.
At times I thought Sera was a little naïve, but that is her draw for me. She has so much to learn and she is determined to be independent, but at the same time, be Cole’s partner. I love that Cole, both the man and the demon, sees her as a strong woman, but also wants to care for her and provide for her.

5 Star Review by Marie's Tempting Reads
REVIEW: This book was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I was utterly and truly glued to my e-reader as I was reading. There was just as much action, scorching love making scenes, and witty banter between these characters as there was in the first book. Some scenes had me squirming in my seat and panting with excitement. It was just...DECADENT! My Demon Determined was a thrilling second book in the My Demon Trilogy. I enjoyed reading more about Seraphina and Cole. I got to see the struggles they go through as they find away to be together and escape the clutches of the angels since they want Sera back. Cole was one of those males you read about often: Arrogant, handsome, determined, and downright sexy as..well hell. I give this a Five out of Five Stars! I highly, and I mean HIGHLY recommend you pick this story up along with the first book, My Decadent Demon if you haven't already done so. It's short, but not too short, yet amazingly written with some witty banter and good, strong characters. Alicia and Nikita, I cannot wait to see what you have in store in the third and final installment. WAY TO GO!

Well, if you like an intense love story and a story line with fun twists and turns, this is the book for you. Loved the story from the beginning. Seraphina is a snarky, spunky, overly curious woman. Cole is a stubborn, dominant, forceful male who demands your attention. He wants Seraphina and will do anything to get her attention and hold it. She is young, impulsive and naive in a lot of ways, but Cole is willing to teach her the ways of the world. I loved this book! Have read it through a few times now and find the story and the couple captivating. Help other customers find the most helpful reviews
Just finished reading My Decadent Demon. Awesome story that keeps you turning the pages. Couldn't put it down. Well written and keeps the reader's attention. You have to get this book! A must have to your collection!
I just finished reading this book,My Decadent Demon, written by great new authors; is has a very good beginning to it. Its a page turner as you drawn in by Sera and Cole story deeper and deeper into pages of excitement, anguish, love, and romance. They will steam up the pages each time you switch to the next it.
Just finished reading this wonderfully wicked hot love story about Seraphina, an oracle in training, who has a vision of a handsome young man, Cole, and how their destiny is linked. The story kept me on the edge of my seat with the passionate emotions and at the same time had me smiling. BRAVO to the authors and I look forward to reading more.
